今日は、食事と関連が深いガンの４大要因のひとつ
「活性酸素」についてレポートします。
過剰な活性酸素の発生
私たちは口からとった食品を体内で燃やして、エネルギーをつくり
出しています。燃やすといっても、それほどの熱は出さずに、効率
よくエネルギー化させる「酸化」という燃やし方です。
その「燃やしカス」としてできるのが「活性酸素」です。
活性酸素は非常に不安定な物質で、周囲の細胞や物質を酸化させて
傷つけます。それにより、ガンや動脈硬化、そのほかの生活習慣病の
発生を促したり、老化を進めたりします。

とくに、活性酸素によって遺伝子が傷つけられると、発ガンのリスク
を高める大きな要因になります。
体内には、この活性酸素を除去する「抗酸化作用」を持つ多くの酵素
が働いています。しかし、加齢や環境の影響から、それらの酵素が
減ったり、余分に使われたりして十分に働けなくなると、ガンの発生
や増殖のリスクが高まります。
■酵素は加齢とともに減少する。
唾液の中に「アミラーゼ」という澱粉の分解酵素があるのは、「ご存知」
のことと思います。
シカゴにあるマイケル・リーズ病院の実験では、「唾液中のアミラーゼ」は
若いグループは、６９歳以上の「３０倍」でした。
「年齢とともに、酵素が弱くなっている、有名なデータの一部です。
人間の体は「だいたい７年位で、全部新しく入れ替わるといいますが、
「新陳代謝」ですね！「この代謝の代表的なものも」年齢とともに弱まる
のです。
よく、中年太りの原因に「基礎代謝」が下がるっていいますね！
だから、みんな「代謝が」下がることを、よく認識しているのですが・・
「ここで問題になるのが」「代謝が下がる→老化→ガン・心臓病など」と

このように、酵素が減少することによって、おこる症例について
対処する必要が」あるわけですね。
